Three ways to get dinner done
Some weeks you cook. Some weeks you survive. We plan for both.
Cook this week
Your plan becomes one consolidated list, quantities added up across recipes, pantry items checked off. Shop it in one trip or send it to delivery.
Make it easier
Pick "shortcuts are fine" and the plan leans on rotisserie chicken, jarred sauces and pre-cut vegetables. Dinner in 20 minutes, no guilt.
Don't make me cook
Tell us it's a rescue week and we'll suggest meal kits or fully prepared meals that fit. These are partner links, always labeled.

Questions people ask
Is WeeklyMealPlans really free?
Yes. Planning a week, swapping dinners and getting the grocery list are free, with no account and no credit card. We earn money from optional Autopilot memberships and from clearly labeled partner links like grocery delivery and meal kits.
How does it handle allergies and dislikes?
Anything you list under "Avoid" is treated as a hard rule, and every dinner is checked against it again before you see it, including hidden forms like pine nuts in pesto. Always double-check labels for serious allergies, since brands vary.
How accurate are the cost estimates?
They are estimates based on typical US supermarket prices, and we try to err on the honest side. Your total will vary by store and region. The budget slider steers the plan toward cheaper proteins and more cross-used ingredients.
Can I swap a meal I don't like?
Tap "Change" on any dinner to make it cheaper, faster, vegetarian or kid-friendlier, add more protein, double it for leftovers, or type your own request like "use chicken instead". The grocery list updates instantly.
What is Autopilot?
Autopilot remembers your household, budget, dislikes and favorites, then plans next week for you and emails the plan and grocery list on the day you choose. It learns from your thumbs up and down and never repeats last week. It costs $59 a year after a 7-day free trial.
I used Mealime. Can I bring my recipes?
Yes. Our free Recipe Rescue tool turns screenshots of your saved recipes into editable recipes you can download or keep, then works them into your weekly plans.
What are we eating this week?
Twenty seconds from now, you'll know. And you'll have the grocery list.
