Affiliate and Sponsorship Disclosure

# Affiliate and sponsorship disclosure

Some links on WeeklyMealPlans earn us money. This page explains which ones, how we label them, and what they never affect.

The short version

  • If you click certain links and then buy something, the company may pay us a commission or a fee.
  • That never changes which dinners are in your plan.
  • An affiliate link doesn't change the price you pay.
  • Paid placements are labeled where they appear.

Which links can earn us money

Meal-kit and prepared-meal companies

When your week looks hectic, or you tell the planner you'd rather not cook, we may suggest a meal kit or ready-made meal service. If you sign up through that link, we may be paid for the referral.

Grocery partners

The "Shop this week's groceries" button sends your grocery list to a grocery delivery or pickup partner so you can choose a store and check out. We may earn a commission on orders placed through it. Links to grocery retailers may work the same way.

Kitchen gear

When we mention equipment like an air fryer, a thermometer or meal-prep containers, the link may be an affiliate link.

Other meal-planning apps

WeeklyMealPlans isn't the right fit for everyone. If you need precise calorie and macro tracking, or you want to organize a large personal recipe collection, we sometimes recommend another app that does that job better. Some of those apps pay us a commission if you subscribe.

What it never changes

Your plan is built from your inputs: household, budget, time, preferences, avoid list and pantry. The AI that drafts your dinners isn't told which companies pay us or how much, and no partner can pay to change which dinners you get.

When we suggest a meal kit, the choice of which one depends on your answers. For example, if your budget per serving is tight we lean toward a lower-cost kit, and if you picked "Rescue me" we lean toward ready-made meals. It doesn't depend on which company pays us more. And if you don't want a meal kit, you can ignore the suggestion. Your plan and grocery list work exactly the same either way.

How we label it

  • Meal-kit and similar paid suggestions are marked "Sponsored" or "Sponsored · we may earn a commission" right next to the link.
  • Smaller inline links carry a "(sponsored)" label.
  • Affiliate links in articles and guides are disclosed next to the link or at the top of the page.
  • If we ever feature a sponsored ingredient or brand in a grocery list, it will be labeled as sponsored right where it appears.

How the links work

Commercial links go through a short WeeklyMealPlans address (it starts with /go/) so we can count clicks. From there you're sent to the partner's site. The partner may set its own cookies to credit us for the referral. What happens on their site is covered by their terms and privacy policy, not ours. See our privacy policy for how we handle your information.

Questions

Amazon

As an Amazon Associate, WeeklyMealPlans earns from qualifying purchases. Kitchen gear suggestions on our meal-plan pages link to Amazon search results; we don't show Amazon prices, and the picks are chosen for the plan, not by who pays more.
