Terms of Use

# Terms of use

Effective date: October 17, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("WeeklyMealPlans," "we," "us"), which runs WeeklyMealPlans.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What WeeklyMealPlans is

WeeklyMealPlans creates meal ideas, recipes and grocery lists based on the information you give us. Plans are drafted by AI. They're meant to make everyday cooking easier, and they're for general information only.

Not medical or nutrition advice

Nothing on WeeklyMealPlans is medical, dietary or nutrition advice, and nothing here replaces advice from a doctor, registered dietitian or other qualified professional. Calories, protein and other nutrition figures are approximate AI estimates. Don't rely on them to manage a medical condition, an eating disorder, pregnancy, a food allergy or any situation where precise nutrition matters. If you have a health condition, talk to your doctor before changing how you eat.

Allergies and food safety are your responsibility

We check plans against the avoid list you give us, but that check can miss things, and AI output can be wrong. You're responsible for:

  • Reading every recipe and ingredient before you cook it
  • Checking product labels for allergens, since recipes can't account for how a specific product is made
  • Telling everyone you cook for what's in the food
  • Handling, storing and cooking food safely, including cooking meat, poultry, fish and eggs to safe temperatures

If you or someone you cook for has a serious food allergy, treat our plans as a starting point and verify everything yourself.

Cost estimates are not guarantees

Grocery costs are estimates based on typical US supermarket prices. Your actual cost will depend on your store, your region, sales, brands and what you already have. We don't guarantee that a plan will cost what we estimate or stay within your budget at checkout.

AI-generated content

Plans, recipes, swaps, pantry lists from photos, and recipe transcriptions are produced by AI. They may contain mistakes, including wrong quantities, cooking times, ingredient names or steps, and items that weren't really in your photo. Review AI output before you rely on it, and use your own judgment in the kitchen. Illustrations on the site are AI-generated artwork, not photos of the actual dish.

Accounts

You don't need an account to get a plan. If you create one, you sign in with a link sent to your email, so keep access to that email account secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Autopilot and other paid plans

Subscriptions

Autopilot is a paid subscription, currently $59 per year or $8.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes. Prices are shown before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and we'll charge the payment method on file, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page or the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

If we change the price, we'll tell you before it applies to you, and the new price will take effect at your next renewal. You can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.

Free trial

Autopilot includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You'll need to add a payment method to start it. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, your paid subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and you'll be charged for the plan you picked. Trials are limited to one per person, and we may end or refuse a trial if we believe it's being misused.

Four planned weeks

The "4 planned weeks" option is a one-time purchase, currently $12. It isn't a subscription and doesn't renew.

Refunds

If you're charged for an annual Autopilot subscription, including an annual renewal, you can request a refund within 14 days of the charge. We'll refund the unused portion of the year, pro-rated from the date you ask. Request it by emailing hello@weeklymealplans.com from the address on your account.

Monthly charges and one-time purchases are generally not refunded, but cancelling stops future charges. If something went wrong, such as a duplicate charge or a plan that never arrived, contact us and we'll make it right. Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under the law.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms for that transaction. You authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for your subscription or purchase.

Acceptable use

Please use WeeklyMealPlans for its intended purpose, which is planning meals for yourself and the people you cook for. Don't:

  • Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site or its plans, or use automated tools to generate plans
  • Try to get around rate limits, security measures or payment
  • Overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service
  • Use the site to build a competing product or train AI models
  • Resell plans or sell access to the service
  • Upload anything illegal, harmful, or containing other people's personal information without their permission
  • Upload content you don't have the right to use. Recipe Rescue is for keeping your own copies of recipes for personal use.

We may limit, suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into WeeklyMealPlans, like your inputs, saved recipes and uploaded photos. You give us permission to use that content to run the service for you: to generate plans, transcribe recipes, store what you save, and send you what you've asked for.

Plans you share with a link can be seen by anyone who has the link.

Our content

The site, its design, software and written content belong to us or our licensors. You may use the plans and recipes we generate for you for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as cooking, printing and sharing with family and friends.

Third-party links and partners

The site links to other companies, including grocery services, meal-kit companies and retailers. Some of those links earn us money, as explained in our disclosure. We don't control those companies and aren't responsible for their products, services, prices or policies. Your dealings with them are between you and them.

Disclaimers

WeeklyMealPlans is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that plans will suit your needs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, WeeklyMealPlans and its owners, employees and partners won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site, the plans, or any food prepared from them.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.

Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of these may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If you use the service in a way that breaks these terms or the law and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may change, add or remove features, and we may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll update the effective date and, for account holders, let you know by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Ending your use

You can stop using WeeklyMealPlans at any time and ask us to delete your data, as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, like disclaimers and limitation of liability, survive after your use ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in [STATE], unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
